(Online-Konferenz) Conference on Computational Humanities Research (CHR2021)

Internationale Online-Konferenz

__________

We are very honoured and pleased the following speakers have accepted to give keynotes at CHR2021:
– Jacob Eisenstein (Georgia Institute of Technology)
– Iza Romanowska (Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies)
– Sara Tonelli (Digital Humanities Research Unit FBK)
Description:
In the arts and humanities, the use of computational, statistical, and mathematical approaches has  considerably increased in recent years. This research is characterized by the use of formal methods and the construction of explicit, computational models. This includes quantitative, statistical approaches, but also more generally computational methods for processing and analyzing data, as well as theoretical reflections on these approaches. In this context, the CHR conference seek to support a growing community of researchers with an interest in computational approaches to the humanities, and to offer an international and interdisciplinary venue to present and publish computational work that does not lose sight of traditional modes of inquiry in the arts and humanities.
